Here are candidates for Assembly districts 11 and 12 as they appear in the Voter's Handbook.

* = incumbent (Listed first so you know what race you're looking at.)
Occupations or other descriptions are the ballot designations candidates have chosen. (Incumbents usually just put "incumbent" or equivalent, so are not otherwise ID'd.)

Incumbent Joe Canciamilla, Pittsburg, is being termed out, leaving this an open seat, but it's heavily Democratic and no problem for DeSaulnier.

(Northern Alameda County; West Contra Costa and Lamorinda areas of Contra Costa County.)

A walk-in for former Berkeley mayor Hancock in the heavily Democratic district. 

15th District
(Portions of southern Contra Costa and eastern Alameda Counties.)

   Consumer attorney

The district was carved for a Republican. Houston will win his third and last term in the state's lower house.
