What can I expect to learn from the Contra Costa Insider? The Insider is a non-partisan journal that will attempt to tell you what’s going on in the county’s government and political affairs. Most of us are professional journalists who will use standard journalistic practices to assure that our material meets the standards of the industry.
Much of our material is a matter of public record. Much of it, such as campaign finance reports in partisan races, already available on the Internet. However, we will try to make sense of it for you. Other news items will be based on the news happenings as gathered by our staff.
We welcome your story ideas and tips. Send them to us at newshound@contracostainsider.com. We will not use material that we cannot verify to our satisfaction.
